About me
I’m Mostafa Othman, a robotics researcher with an M.Sc. in Robotics and Computer Vision (Innopolis University) and a B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering (Nile University). I work on robot manipulation under uncertainty: contact-rich assembly, teleoperation, haptic interfaces, and vision-guided control.
This site hosts my publications, thesis and lab projects, and an academic CV.
Research focus
- Peg-in-hole and tight-clearance assembly
- Bilateral and shared teleoperation with force feedback
- Computer vision for detection and localisation in clutter
- Learning from demonstration and hybrid position/force control
See Research for a fuller statement and Projects for implementations and demos.
